Where we are
Snowden Bridge sits in Stephenson, Virginia, in Frederick County, about five miles from downtown Winchester. The Shenandoah Valley spreads out in every direction — rolling farmland, the Blue Ridge to the east, the Allegheny foothills to the west, and the mix of long evening light and cool early mornings the valley is known for.
The community is a short drive to I-81, I-66, and Route 7, which puts Washington D.C. under ninety minutes away and Dulles International Airport under an hour.
The neighborhood
Snowden Bridge is a master-planned community with a mix of single-family homes and two-car garage townhomes, plus Hiatt Pointe — a separate 55+ section within the community. There's a wide range of households here: families with kids in school, working professionals, retirees who've downsized into the valley, first-time buyers, and everyone in between.
What's here
The community was built around a generous set of on-site amenities — enough that most weekends, nobody actually needs to leave.
-
Indoor sportsplex. 15,000 square feet with tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. Open year-round.
-
Swimming pools & pirate splash park. A full community pool with lap lanes, a wade section for smaller swimmers, and a pirate-themed splash park.
-
Trails & bike racetrack. Paved walking and running trails throughout the neighborhood, plus a kids' bike racetrack.
-
Clubhouse & picnic pavilion. Shared spaces for events, classes, and whoever's hosting this weekend.
-
Playground & dog park. Both are busy most afternoons.
-
On-site school & daycare. Jordan Springs Elementary School is within the community, and Golden Path Academy handles infant through after-school care.
Nearby
Old Town Winchester is a short drive — a walkable pedestrian mall with shops, restaurants, the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, and regular festivals through the year. Apple Blossom Mall and Rutherford Crossing cover most everyday shopping.
Winchester Medical Center is about fifteen minutes away for care. For the wider valley, there are Virginia wineries, breweries, Skyline Drive, the Appalachian Trail, and plenty of hiking within an hour's drive. Many residents take advantage of the commute to Northern Virginia and D.C.; many others rarely need to leave the valley at all.
